Australia’s and New Zealand’s Surgical Community will come together in Brisbane in August 2024 for the premier regional Hernia Conference for 2024, ANZ Hernia’s “Back to Basics”. The Conference, open to all General Surgeons, Trainees, Surgical Assistants, students and interested parties will be held at the W Hotel Brisbane from 29th to 31st August 2024. The conference will commence at the Medical Education and Research Facility (MERF) on Thursday 29 August with a hands-on practical teaching and cadaver workshop, aimed at Interested Surgeons and Trainees. Places are very limited and will be attributed on a first in, first served basis. On Friday 30th August the day commences with a Breakfast Masterclass called XRAD. This is an incredible hands-on workshop to help you get the most out of your imaging. We have two wonderful overseas guests presenting this workshop which recently was launched in India to much aclaim. The Conference proper will commence on Friday 30 August at the W Hotel for 2 days with a conference dinner that night. Saturday 31 August will commence with a Breakfast Masterclass about using the Fasciotens with local and international experts presenting their experience with this revolutionary device. On completion of the program on Saturday 31 August delegates and family members will move to Fridays on the Brisbane River to celebrate and view the famous Riverfire, the grandest event of the Brisbane Festival. This is a ticketed event and places are limited so get in quickly. Early Bird Pricing will end midnight 31/7/24. All delegates becoming members of ANZ Hernia (free to join-link on website) will receive a discount on Registration. All delegates must have a ticket to the Conference dinner on Friday 30/8/24 and the Breakfast masterclass on Sat 31/8/24. Both are included in the registration but places are limited so please ensure you secure your ticket.
