Professor Eric Pauli

Eric M Pauli, MD FACS FASGE is the David L. Nahrwold Professor of Surgery, Chief of the Division of Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery and Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs at the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, USA. He is a fellowship trained surgical endoscopist and abdominal wall surgeon. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha and the Gold Humanism Honor society. He is the author of more than 130 peer reviewed publications and invited manuscripts, 35 book chapters and has edited 4 textbooks of surgery. He has delivered 350 invited lectures on a national and international level on a wide array of surgical topics. He has been a collaborator on research projects with more than 2.7 million dollars in funding, including grants from the NIH, societies, and industry partners. He currently serves as a board member of The Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and The American Hernia Society. His areas of expertise include complex abdominal wall reconstruction, parastomal hernia management and endoscopic management of gastrointestinal defects. He has been recognized with awards for his clinical service and patient satisfaction, his research productivity, his manuscript reviewing, and his mentorship skills.
